Maintain equilibrium in a changing environment
mind
Traditional east Asian medicine is a passed down lineage of mind-body wisdom that views the human as an integral but individual part of nature.
Body
Gentle Classical Japnese acupuncture and herbal medicine facillitates , restores and maintains the flow of energy in the body, preserving overall health and well-being.
Wisdom
An environment that encourages optimal intelligence will inevitably nurture the development of emotional health, since no part of the physiological system can flourish at the expense of another.

Unique Individuals
Although two people may experience the same symptom, the exact imbalance causing the symptom may be different.
Therefore people respond to acupuncture treatments at different rates. Some people will get immediate relief from their symptoms; for others it might take a little longer. Classical acupuncture treatment aims to correct the underlying imbalance. Again, this may change very quickly (e.g. within 1-3 treatments) or it may require a treatment course obver 1-2 months to achieve the same result, especially if the condition is longstanding.
"To cure the illness it is essential to seek the root." (Su Wen Chapter 5)
Does acupuncture Hurt?
As a matter of fact the average diameter of an acupuncture needle is about 10 x smaller than the average diameter of an injection needle and only 2 x larger than human hair. Hence, when performed by a skilled traditional practitioner, acupuncture produces no pain or discomfort. Don't we love that?
"When there is free flow, there is no pain. If there is no free flow, there is pain"

Holistic approach
An interface between physiology and the environment.
Everyone repeats the physiology of regeneration, growth, contraction and storage by responding to seasonal changes. It is said that the Yin and Yang of the four seasons are the ending and origin of everything. Living against this phenomenon will cause disease, while following it will lead to health.
Treatment may include:
Traditional Japanese Acupuncture:
A refined, gentle-yet-effective form of acupuncture, using fine, single-use, stainless-steel needles. This style of acupuncture is virtually painless.
Moxibustion: Applying and burning Artemisia vulgaris (Mugwort), a dried herb, on the skin. Occasionaly, this technique can produce a small mark on the skin for a few days. Cupping: Cups are placed on the skin the vacuum draws up the underlying tissues. Cupping usually leaves red or purple marks on the skin and can last 1-3 weeks. Herbal and dietary prescription and advice: Tailored to adress underlying systemic root imbalances that allow support outside the clinical setting.
